Diversity, Inclusion and CSR

Diversity and inclusion

At Definitive Consulting we are deeply committed to ensuring that Diversity and Inclusion are firmly rooted in everything we do, internally and externally.

As a global business that operates across numerous continents and cultures, we recognise the importance of a diverse workforce in generating a culture of inclusion that embraces differences and encourages innovation.

Our team directly reflects the values of equality and fairness, and we uphold strong internal policies which outline our commitment to inclusivity and diversity.

We take great pride in ensuring that our search methodologies are free from bias of any kind and we work in partnership with our clients to help them build diverse and inclusive teams that represent their clients and their respective interests worldwide.

Diversity and Inclusion should not be just a statement on a website but a set of behaviours that are clearly demonstrated at every level within a business.

Corporate & social responsibility

We firmly believe that all companies, regardless of size, have a responsibility to give something tangible back to society and promote worthy causes. We believe this is good for our people, good for the world around us and, ultimately, good for business.

Accordingly, we do more than pay lip-service to CSR. We are proud that our people are genuinely interested and invested in making real contributions to charitable organisations and projects – not just financially, but by giving their time and energy. What’s more, we don’t ask our people to give up their own time, we enable them to play their part during business hours.

Some of the causes we have volunteered and raised money for over the years include:

  • Marylebone Project, West London - a homeless shelter for women, offering 112 long- and short-term beds as well as education, employment, and training opportunities to support the homeless into independent living.
  • Refettorio Felix at St Cuthbert’s, London -an open-door drop-in centre for vulnerable adults that seeks to relieve poverty, hardship, sickness and distress through the power of a shared meal of outstanding quality, made with 100% surplus food.
  • Lou’s Place, Kings Cross, Sydney – Sydney’s only daytime women’s refuge, providing women with a safe, welcoming place and supporting them in rebuilding their lives.
  • White Ribbon Foundation, Sydney – part of the world’s largest movement engaging men and boys to end men’s violence against women and girls, promote gender equality and create new opportunities for men to build positive, healthy and respectful relationships.
  • Taldumande Youth Services, Sydney – a not-for-profit organisation that supports vulnerable and homeless children and young people aged 12 to 24 years, and their families.
  • Beyond Blue, Sydney - Australia’s most well-known and visited mental health organisation, focused on supporting people affected by anxiety, depression and suicide.
